What’s
up SoS.A.? How is life in the 210
treating you? |
 |
Real good kinfolk. I can’t complain.
I’m at my best right now. I am 2-1-0,
yha dhig
! |

Your
last CD, The Answer to the Question,
was under the name Mystery. What
made you change your name to SoS.A.?
|
 |
I
been had the name SoS.A. It was just I
didn’t think the name Mystery was
making an impact on what I was doin’.
I mean, its always been a “Mystery”
of
what type of style of how I was
going to come on a beat. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
That’s what it is. It’s
a lot of rappers in San Antonio now, what
separates you from the rest? |
 |
First, I prolly been doin’ it longer.
Second, you can’t describe SoS.A.
What’s
separate me is my swag, my style, my life…I’m
just different from these cats
folk. From what I wear, to what I drink,
to what I smoke, I’m just different.
I’m
just not them, yha dhig!!!!!!? |
|
BigTmusic.com |
That’s
true. Texas has had much success
out of Houston and Dallas. Not many
people outside of the state know San Antonio
has talent other than the Spurs.
Do you think you have what it takes to
put the city on the map? |
 |
I got what it takes and it takes what
I got, period! |
|

Are
the radio stations showing love to the
local artist? |
 |
Yeah. They are. Its just local artist
gotta show love to local artist. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
A few years ago you we hollering Maldo
Entertainment, now you're preaching Cocked-n-Locked.
Is there any beef with you and your former
label? |
 |
Never. it’s a mutual agreement.
They doin’ they thang, I’m
doin’ my thang, its
all love. I’mma still do music with
them. We still going to do music in the
future. That’s still family. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
That’s good to hear. On to
your latest project, Topic of Discussion.
Tell us a little about it. |
 |
Yeah, it’s a beast. New styles,
new swag, new label. It’s a beast!
The flows is
ridiculous. The style patterns is ridiculous.
To sum it up, it’s a beast! I think
this
CD is a 210 classic, period. Oh…..and
it’s a beast! |
|
BigTmusic.com |
What
was it like working with the different
artist? |
 |
I worked with a lot of good artist on
this one. To name a few, Cocked-n-Locked
family. Always a pleasure workin’
with them cats cuz they hard workers like
I
am. Um, got my man Bugsy on there. 2 different
styles, but we just know how
to take any track and make it us. Oh,
we got Ched’r on there. Been knowin’
Ched’r since the beginning of his
career. He came along way. He is definitely
in my top 10. The rest you gone have to
wait till the album comes out. I think
that’s enough surprises. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
Are
there any tracks that you would consider
your favorite? |
 |
I wouldn’t necessarily say favorite,
but there is “one” that I
can say I had my
feet up, hat cocked to the side, blunt
in my muthafuckin’ mouth, verse
on there. A little inside humor. You gotta
listen to the CD to know what I am talking
about. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
Oh
OK. So is it true that you are back
in the lab working on a follow up already? |
 |
I stay in the lab folk! Next question! |
|
BigTmusic.com |
Is
there anyone that you have not worked
with yet, that you would like to work
with? |
 |
Locally, eventually I’mma end up
working with everybody who wanted to work
with me. And that goes the same for nationally
too. |
|
BigTmusic.com |
Alright.
Last question, if there were one thing
you can change about the rap game today,
what would it be? |
 |
First, better
album sales. Secondly, these cornball
ass niggas getting’ deals!
These niggas that ain’t in it for
the longevity. Go get that Topic
of Discussion!

 |
I want to
shout out to everyone who is doin’ something
trynna to better they
self. Till then, see me when
you see me! When you do, fucks with
me Yha dhig ! ! ! ! ! ! |
